Jennifer is a passionate recorder teacher with over twenty five years of experience teaching private lessons, coaching small ensembles, and teaching workshops. She is available to teach private lessons from her home in northern Colorado Springs, CO or online through Zoom or other video apps. All ages and levels are welcome!

Jennifer has been an instructor at both the summer and fall Texas Toot (TX), San Francisco Early Music Society Workshop (CA), Amherst Early Music’s Virtual Workshops (MA), Dallas Recorder Society Workshop (TX), Austin Recorder Society Workshop (TX), Hidden Valley Institute and Next Level Workshops (CA), Orange County Recorder Workshop (CA), Barbary Coast Recorder Orchestra Workshop (CA), Las Cruces Recorder Society Workshop (NM), Los Alamos and Santa Fe Recorder Society Workshops (NM), Rocky Mountain Workshop (CO), Boulder Recorder Society Workshop (CO), Denver Recorder Society Workshops (CO), Ft. Collins Recorder Society Workshop (CO), Colorado Recorder Orchestra Workshops (CO), Phoenix/Prescott Recorder Society Workshops (AZ), and Portland Recorder Society Workshop (OR).

Both in-person and virtual workshops are quite common, and Jennifer has worked to design topics and classes that work well in both formats. She continues to schedule and teach a series of virtual beginners’ and 2nd-Level courses for the American Recorder Society (ARS). Jennifer also teaches regularly for the North American Virtual Recorder Society (NAVRS) and for virtual ARS Chapter playing sessions for groups across the country and Canada.
